Committee System

At its Annual Council Meeting in May 2008 the Council resolved to establish a system for carrying out its business through committees. The Council has formed four committees: Community Relations, Environment and Open Spaces, Planning and Policy and Finance. These committees will meet in turn at fortnightly intervals throughout the Council year to assist in progressing the Council’s business.
